Mid-'90s dreamo from the Inland Empire. Channeling Riot Grrrl's shambolic DIY energy through a wall of Rat 2 distortion, the teenage Pennikurvers crashed the scene just long enough to play a dozen gigs across greater LA and record a handful of heart-core songs for a short-run 7" before disappearing into the southern California smog. "Pennikurvers is the epicenter of a dream state," guitarist Bobby Sell said, "a lush and serene soundtrack made for floating off into space. Dying To Tell compiles their complete four song discography onto a 45 RPM 12", housed in a hand-screened chipboard jacket with accompanying lyric sheet and notes from guitarist/vocalist Emily Dalton. Pressed in an edition of 300.
