Back in their exclamation point days, Karate(!) was a big proponent of the cut n' paste aesthetic, upcycling post-war America's textbook clip art for their album and single cover art. The capital K ringed in swirling atoms appeared on their 1995 debut 7" for the Self Starter Foundation, and was quickly abandoned along with said exclamation point. This process blue, heavyweight, Comfort Colors tee reproduces that DIY spirit, and will certainly turn the head of any former zine maker. Not a death kit exactly, but you'll feel a little more of your youth slip away as the green, red, and white inks fade over hundreds washes.
